This is a record of articles that were nominated to become featured articles on Wikipedia:Featured article candidates, but didn't get featured due to unresolved objections by other users. Articles that were featured are listed on the featured log.
Please note that if an article is listed here, that doesn't mean that the article isn't good. It simply means that the article is not feature-quality — yet.
It's generally acceptable to re-nominate articles that have improved. Just follow some basic guidelines:
- Avoid re-nominating the same article repeatedly.
- Please review the archived objections, and make sure all of the problems noted have been addressed.
- Consider submitting the article to Wikipedia:Peer review first, to catch any new problems.
